Spotlights presents Physical Theatre Workshop

Frantic Assembly are one of the most renowned physical theatre companies in the world. They have provided movement direction on the award-winning National Theatre production The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as well as movement direction on the BAFTA nominated British/American TV series Humans (AMC, Channel 4 & Kudos). They have commissioned and collaborated with writers such as Simon Stephens, Andrew Bovell, Mark Ravenhill, Abi Morgan and Bryony Lavery. Frantic Assembly's distinct creative approach has influenced contemporary theatre-making and foregrounded the use of movement directors and choreographers in new dramatic works. It has inspired writers to embrace new creative processes and opened up actors and dancers to new techniques. Everyone who attends will be taken through the basic steps of Frantic’s method of devising physical sequences, and will be taught vital skills in both performing and choreographing! **FOR SUBSIDISED ENTRY YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP ON THE DOOR**
