Classics and Ancient History presents Medea
University of Bristol Classics and Ancient History Society presents Medea by Euripides!! The play focuses on Medea’s plans for revenge and her turmoil after her husband Jason has married another woman. It explores themes of feminine revolt in a male-dominated society. It was (and still is) a shocking and highly contentious story in its morality and challenging of ideals.
