Dramsoc presents Monster

Darryl is 15 and already broken. His mum killed herself, his school has excluded him from lessons, an ASBO hangs over him, and he has a worrying obsession with his nan's kitchen knife and Charles Manson. But trainee teacher Tom, escaping a City job and a mental breakdown, wants to make a difference. In a classroom somewhere, Tom and Darryl engage in a battle of wills as Tom tries where all else have failed, but what can be done when a child cares for nothing and no one?
