Spotlights presents That Which Feeds Me
Playwright with an explosive talent (pun intended) or spy with incendiary words, his life was one fraught with his fracturing faith in God and Country, and lived to its fullest, most inflammatory heights. When brutally stabbed to death in 1593 he was at the peak of his career. He left the shoes Shakespeare fell into, but much of his life and death remain a mystery. THAT WHICH FEEDS ME is an attempt to show Marlowe as who he was in his time - a radical, unpredictable, frequently violent and distinctly non-heterosexual trailblazer who was a rockstar of his age.
- THIS PERFORMANCE WILL CONTAIN: Strong language
- Use and defamation of religious imagery
- Strong bloody violence
